Governor Cuomo presented his proposed budget to the state Legislature today, and I am pleased by his continued commitment to limit spending and tackle the budget gap. I was hoping to hear more specifics on greater regulatory reform and significant mandate relief. We will spend the next several weeks going over the budget proposals and analyzing the details and their impact on the State. Over the course of the next few months I will work hard with my fellow lawmakers to pass a fiscally responsible, on-time budget which protects our state’s hard-working taxpayers.
